8th Nouhime Grand Prix Call for Audition Applicants
Nouhime (Princess Nou) was the wife of Oda Nobunaga, a powerful warlord of 16th-century Japan.
Born into the ruling family of Mino Province (modern-day Gifu), she symbolizes intelligence, strength, and cultural heritage.
Though historical records are limited, Nouhime remains an enduring icon of Gifu’s history and spirit.

Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following requirements
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to promoting the cultural, historical, and regional appeal of Gifu to domestic and international audiences.
Possess the motivation to express individuality while embracing new challenges through this audition process.
- Ability to communicate in foreign languages and disseminate information about Gifu and Nouhime to a global audience.
- Foreign language proficiency is welcomed but not a mandatory requirement.
- Be available to attend the final selection event on March 15, 2026, and, upon selection, participate in promotional activities for the Nouhime Festival and related events.
- No restrictions regarding age, gender, nationality, or species; humans, animals (including pets), and even AI entities are welcome to apply, provided there is a sincere desire to contribute to the revitalization and promotion of Gifu.
- Actively utilize social media platforms to share information about the Nouhime Festival and the region of Gifu, and engage positively with audiences.
- Provide consent for photographs and video recordings taken during Grand Prix activities to be used in official promotional materials (including posters, flyers, and newspaper articles).
- Applicants under the age of 18 must obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian.
